LOCATION OF HEADQUARTERS REVISED EDITION

 

A BREIF HISTORY

 

Upon the death of VT Houteff, Feb 5 1955, his wife, Florence Houteff, instantly claimed leadership by stating that her husband appointed her to be the next Vice President. This gave her leverage to further her deception by making prophetic predictions relating to the fulfillment of the forty two months prophecy in Rev. 11 which according to her would terminate on April 22, 1959. This is where the idea

for VP as head also originated.

 

Benjamin Roden also clamed the prophetic office after the death of the prophet stating that he was the Elijah who would not die. His association was called the Branch Davidians who believed in keeping the feast days. He later went to Jerusalem where he relocated his association. He died some years ago.

 

In 1957 Sister Houteff sold MT. Carmel Center and relocated the HQ’s to Elk TX, New MT. Carmel.

 

After the knock out blow in1959, (prediction of Ezek.9) some Davidians that were left standing in the message gathered together in California for Session on July 28 – Aug.7 1961. On the agenda was location of HQ’s – Old Mt. Carmel. Bro. Bingham gave a convincing study on the withering of Carmel and these Davidians that left New MT. Carmel were now reorganized in Riverside California.

 

In 1962, California group split due to error on the teaching of Bashan Pasture by Bro. Bingham who also claimed to be the Porter Prophet. He and his followers established their association in Exeter Missouri.

 

The California group moved their association to Salem, So. Carolina in 1970 due to a study given by Bro. Don Adair that God’s HQ’s must be in the east according to Ezek.47.

 

In 1974, there was a split in Salem’s association due to the teaching by Bro. Don that Gods HQ’s must be in the east. Those who did not accept that doctrine, relocated to Yucaipa California.

 

M.T. Jordan, one of Bro. Bingham follower’s in 1979, set up another association in Ontario Canada stating we are now in the Gilead period, the last, also that he was the antitypical David, and that his association was the Vanguards who would gather the 144,000. Others have broken away stating that they are in Gilead phase 2 period.

 

There was another braking away from Salem’s association due to doctrinal and political scheme by the vice president in 1983. Those who broke away established the association in NY according to the belief that God’s HQ’s must be in the east.

 

In 1986, the Yucaipa California group that originally split from Salem’s association merged with Mt. Dale NY brethren under the condition that they change their by-law to say “east of California” and not “in the east.”

 

From the brief history that was shared; we can see that many Davidians were and still are knocked out. Most are confused as to where Gods HQ’s should be located and what type of Government we should be governed by. It is our sincere desire that you will follow the Lamb and not man, as He direct us through His prophetic words that we may find ourselves in the right pasture, feeding on the true Rod and not be toss too and fro with the many winds of doctrines blowing.

 

RE-LOCATION OF GOD’S PROPHETIC HQ’s, WACO TX 1991 HISTORY

 

It was at the 1988 special session at MT. Dale NY that three brothers who received some of the original Codes from Sister Bonnie Smith, (a member of MT. Carmel Center in the days of the prophet) presented for the first time “Location of Headquarters, Waco TX.”

 

Re-location of HQ’s was not on session’s agenda, the main item was Government, but due to the interest created, they were permitted to make a presentation.

 

A few brethren of the laity from Boston Mass. and NY upon conviction of the presentation, in 1989 relocated to Waco TX, where they temporary set up headquarters at Lake Ridge Circle.

 

A presentation was made at the 1990 session in Mt. Dale by Bro. Archer, a minister, to relocate headquarters some where in TX, not Waco. He stated: “What I presented here today, you all got it…After I gave my report I showed you that …the report nullified Waco, but the report showed a central location was still valid.” Majority voted against.

 

In 1991 there was another special session in Mt. Dale NY, agenda, Government – (no VP, chairperson instead) and Location of HQ’s, “in the midst of the land” Waco TX, presented by Bro. P. Nosworthy, a laity. Majority voted in favor for both items.

 

Because of the great animosity that transpired at that session, those that were convicted of the truth, left MT. Dale with nothing, and united with the brethren in Waco, trusting only in the promise of the “blessing in the midst of the land.”

 

After relocating to Waco, (Lake Ridge Circle at first, then 2500 Mt Carmel Dr.) there were many among us, pretenders of the faith – claiming to believe in Waco and Government, (1 TG #2 p20, 2 Ans. p55) that influence the majority to reverse Government back to VP at the 1992 session. (See study on Government for more information.) The reason stated why they voted for Government (No VP at the 1991 session) “was to move in unison, but they never believed it.”

 

A presentation for location of headquarters some where else in a rural setting in Texas was made by two brothers at the 1994 session. The motion was not seconded.

 .

A very interesting point of observation must be mention at this time, and that is, not one of the ministers at the 1994 session opposed the presentation. One of the brothers told me some years later, there was an agreement between both parties, the ministers had agreed that they would not touch it. Bro. Nosworthy was the only individual who gave a rebuttal against that presentation on “some where else.”

A new article was shortly published by Bro. Archer, the title “Location of Headquarters Reexamined, " where he claimed to now believe in Waco TX headquarters location.

A few years later Bro. Archer went to a session at MT. Dale, claiming unity. (This was not approved by Waco council) The session reluctantly allowed them to make their presentation, after which questions were asked. Bro. Tony Hibbert’s question to Bro. Archer was “supposed we had a joint session, and the majority voted to relocate HQ’s some where else in TX other than Waco, what would you do? Bro. Archer’s response was “what ever the majority decides he will do.” (This is all on video tape)

 

Remember all this occurred after he published his latest article on “Location of Headquarters Reexamined.” After his return, and upon viewing the video, I, Bro. Nosworthy, met with Bro. Archer, where I address him on the answer he gave to Br. Hibbert. His response to me was “he told them what he wanted them to hear.” This is important history.

At the last Waco / Mountain Dale meeting  that was held in Georgia for the sole purpose of restoring unity between both parties due to doctrinal issues especially on location of headquarters, Bro Archer proposed to the Mountain Dale brethren that the property in Moody can be considered for the setting up of headquarters seeing that they have a problem that Waco is not in a rural setting, and more so in the city limits which is contrary to Inspiration.

 

This recomendation was made after he gave a most convicting presentation that Gods true headquarters must be on the the original spot. Not one of the other four ministers that accompanied him opposed that idea.

 

His consistent compromising behaviour was once again exposed by the Mountain Dale brethren as to what he realy believe. This is recorded on DVD.

 

Although God’s headquarters is been infiltrated by “pretenders of the faith,” nevertheless, it is still His true and only headquarters for the closing work to the church.

 

Those of us who have pioneered this move back to Waco TX did so by faith on the prophetic statements that is recorded in the Old Codes and not on the vote of the majority. It was the faith and funds of the laity that made Waco a reality.”

 

LOCATION OF HEADQUARTS, DOES IT REALY MATTER?

 

One may question: “Does it really matter where headquarters is located on this side of the kingdom?” As we proceed, this and other questions will be answered, and consequently will unveil God’s true Headquarters.

 

According to 1TG #5 pp9, 10; 1TG #29 p10; 8Tr p24 we see that God’s true Headquarters must be in the two horn beast’s domain—the United States of America. It is evident; therefore, that God is particular about the location of His Headquarters.

 

“And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.” (Hosea 12:13)

 

General Unit Location Sought For

 

This reference was made while Bro. Houteff was in California. (See 2 SR p297)

 

“Being deprived of all denominational advantages such as sanitariums, health food factories, printing presses, etc., perhaps it may be necessary for a rural location for the establishment of a combined unit to assist in carrying the message to the church until the "siege against it" shall be successfully culminated in a glorious victory when "the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this."  (Isa. 9:7.)  This has been suggested by a sister and her husband who have had considerable experience in this line.  Therefore we call the attention of all who are standing in the light to give consideration to such an enterprise.  Any one having knowledge of such a location and the necessary information regarding it, please communicate it to this office.  Our prayers for such an undertaking in behalf of God's people will be answered by whatever the results to this call might be.” (1SC #2 p1)

 

“Beloved Brethren in Present Truth--

 

“The many letters of encouragement received during the past several weeks, most of which indicated that you were praying earnestly that the Lord would guide His servants in wisdom and counsel while seeking a central location for headquarters from which to operate the work of proclaiming the message to the church, have been greatly appreciated by all and especially by those who have been spying out the land, as it were, and we are happy indeed to bring to you a good report and a few grapes from this trip and, in the language of the faithful ones of old, we can say, "We are well able?" to take the city, but we know this can be done only as we do as those two warriors of old did, namely: "follow the Lord fully."

 

“It has been evident for some time that it would soon be necessary to seek a more central location for the office in order to serve the whole field efficiently, so those at headquarters have been praying very earnestly over this matter for many months, and as they kept on praying for light, the Lord finally indicated definitely that beautiful Southern California was no longer to remain the center of His work for the "lost sheep of the house of Israel," but an eastward course was to be seen in the stream from that "fountain" which is to swell into the great river of Ezekiel's prophecy, and plans were soon formulated whereby a thorough search could be made in the territory indicated by the Lord where the future headquarters were to be found.

 

“In response to an invitation to become members of the party selected to look for the new location, three of us met in San Antonio, Texas about the first of February, and for more than two months we have followed to the best of our ability every indication of our divine Leader, searching the land thoroughly from San Antonio to Dallas and Fort Worth, which is within the territory indicated where the Lord would have us locate.

 

“One thing was clear in our minds concerning the new home for our work, and that was that we should have a rural base from which to operate--one with room enough to demonstrate that the Lord made no mistake when He told us through His messenger that we should be out of the city, and in an environment conducive to health, and one where we could care for the needy among us, and furnish employment to those who are learning how to give the message.

 

“While in Waco our attention had been called to a property situated about five miles from the center of the city, and near an artificial lake from which the city's supply of water is taken, so the more we considered this location the more convinced we were that the Lord was directing us to this place, as evidenced by "many infallible proofs," which we dare not question, for the whole setting of the scene was at first "contrary to any human planning" of our own.” (1SC # 10 p3, 4)

“This circumstance gave rise to The Universal Publishing Association which, while located in Los Angeles, edited and published both, volumes One and Two besides several pamphlets making up the series of "The Shepherd's Rod" publications, until finally in 1935 when, for lack of room, and to be more centrally located for the two Americas, the Association removed to its present location--Mt. Carmel Center, Waco, Texas.” (3 SC #s 8-10 p3)

Note. – While in California, it was recommended to Bro. Houteff that they seek a central location for the establishment of a combined unit to assist in carrying the message to the church. To establish such a location, the Lord directed the prophet through the direction of the stream, eastward, and not the direction of the river of Ezek. 47.

The differences between both are, (1) at the time when Bro. Houteff gave the interpretation on the river of Ezekiel’s prophecy,(1932) he did not have light on relocation of HQ’s. The idea for relocation of HQ’s was suggested in 1934. (2) In 2 SR p297, the prophet interpreting the direction of the river in Ezek. 47 said “this direction of the compass denotes that the message (not HQ’s) of the loud cry is start eastward when it is first revealed. The church membership been largely east of California, and across the Atlantic, naturally the message must start towards the east. This symbolical prophecy reveals that the message of the loud cry is to originate in California.”

Sis. White combined the prophecies of Zech. with Ezek: “From this fountain flows the mighty river seen in Ezekiel’s vision.” (CH. p210) (See 2 SR p291) The prophecy of Ezek. 47 is a continuation of Zech. 13:1, 2. See chart. The water from the fountain started as a stream before it became a river. The stream represents the 144,000, and the river the Great Multitude. Although the stream and the river flow in the same direction, eastward, nevertheless it was the direction of the stream that the prophet used in relationship to HQ’s and not the river. The stream headquarters, Waco TX, is for the gathering of the 144,000, where as the river headquarters, Jerusalem, is for the great multitude. Both MT. Dale and Salem association use the direction of the river in reference to the location of their HQ’s in Salem and NY. This is contrary to the Rod.

The only two applications that was made by the prophet in relation to the river of Ezek.47 is the direction that the message (not HQ’s) of the loud cry is to start when it was first revealed, and, the prophecy reveals that it is to originate in California. Eastward is a direction, not a location. Salem South Carolina is not centrally located, (it is south east), neither are NY, (it is north east), Missouri, (it is south west) or Canada (it is in the north) and they are definitely not “within the territory indicated where the Lord would have us locate. “As we continue the truth will become clearer.

 

MOVED TO "MOUNT CARMEL CENTER" WACO, TEXAS AND THE ERECTING OF THE “CAMP.”

 

“Though it was at first thought that the office should remain in its original location for a month or two longer, circumstances called for its immediate removal, and it is with praises that we make this happy announcement of our arrival at the new headquarters location, and we feel certain that all who are standing in the light of present truth will, with the pioneers of this central location for our future work in behalf of our S.D.A. brethren, raise their voices in thanksgiving to our heavenly Father.

 

“Our company being composed of twelve members signifies that it is to represent the foundation of this central headquarters location of the last and everlasting spiritual government.  And as number "seven" denotes completeness, the seven families are to represent all the families that are to make up the everlasting kingdom of Christ.  Hence, we see the hand of God moving in the same mysterious way even now.

 

“In this significant number, seven days almost to the hour, we arrived on the very spot where, with the help of the Lord we are now endeavoring to erect the "camp" of Ezek. 4:2, from which the burden of the work is to be carried for the church in all the world,….which is to heralded from this central location.” (1SC. 11&12 pp2, 3)

 

TO THE TWELVE TRIBES WHICH ARE SCATTERED ABROAD

“At this time we are to make the most important move since the message found us.  Therefore, we earnestly solicit the prayers of every believer in Present Truth, so that there be nothing done which God can not bless.

 

.

“The Word of the Lord is sounding in our ears, saying: "Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it the city, even Jerusalem: and lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about." (Ezek. 4:1, 2.)

 

“In order to fulfill the call we must build the "fort," cast the amount," set the "camp," and the "battering rams against it round about--"This shall be a sign to the house of Israel."  (Ezek. 4:3.)  Hence, the first question to be asked is, Where shall we build?  The answer comes from Him Who "is taking the reins in His own hands" (Testimonies to Ministers, 300): "In that day shall Israel be...even a blessing in the midst of the land."  (Isa. 19:24.)

 

“As no one puts a light in a corner but rather in the center of the room, so the wise "husbandman" built "a tower in the midst of" His "vineyard."  We are living in that prophetic time when men were to run to and fro" (Dan. 12:4), and in which "a short work will the Lord make."  (Rom. 9:28.)

 

“Consequently, the Lone Star state, being in the midst of the land for both Americas, North and South, is the place where we must set the "camp," so that the light may be equally diffused east and west, north and south.  Moreover, the "camp" from where the "battering rams" are to be sent, naturally must be centrally located so that the distance between the "rams" and the "camp" may be cut down to one half, thus reducing the time and the cost for transportation and supplies as well as for mailing.  We thank God for such a wise plan as this.

 

“Therefore, He has given us one of His beautiful lakeside hills adjacent to Waco, Texas, a city of about 60,000, yet far enough from it to be away from the world and its evil environment--about 5 miles from the center of the city, and about 2 1/2 miles from the city limits.  There lies 189 acres of land for our "camp." (1SC #10 p1, 2)”

"Set the camp also against it"; that is, make a temporary lodging place for your workers, Headquarters from which to carry on the work, and make preparation to remain there until you have conquered the city.  This is the devout purpose in building Mt. Carmel Center; this is its given goal. (1SRP p75)

“Mt. Carmel's great burden is to get this manifold work done as soon as possible, so that we may then go home to our eternal rest, no more to be fettered with the shackles of sin.” (3Ans. p64)

1 P. 1:19 clearly tells us that “We have a more sure word of prophecy; where unto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day of dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.”

 

“Here we are told that prophecy, a vision, is the acid test by which to judge purported Bible Truth; that is, if the thing is not in prophecy, if there is no vision of it found in the writings of the prophets, then, there is no truth in it.  Yes, the visions of the prophets are to be our visions if we must be preserved.” (2TG #24 p15)

Please note the different prophecies that were used in the establishedment of location of HQ’s and the building of the “camp.” After God gave the prophet the prophetic direction he should go in search of a territory for the relocation of HQ’s, (Ezekiel’s stream) He then revealed to him the prophecy of Ezek.4, the “camp” and its purpose. In reference to the question “where shall we build” the “camp”, in the prophecy of Isa. 19:24 came the answer "In that day shall Israel be...even a blessing in the midst of the land." Isa. 19:24 has a dual application – a blessing in the midst of the two Americas for the gathering of the 144,000 and a blessing in the midst of the world for the gathering of the great multitude. See Tr. #14 p16, 17.

 

It is interesting to observe that Waco is centrally located in Texas; (it is termed as “central Texas,”) Texas is in the midst of both Americas, Christ will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem, (See Zech.8:3) Jerusalem is in the midst of Israel, Israel in the midst of the Nations, Christ will come for His own on some mid- week night, (See2 Ans. p23) and Heaven is in the Center of centers. (See 2 SR p263). Is this coincidental or providential?

 

According to prophecy, the prophet was directed to build the camp of Ezek. 4 in the midst of the land, the Lone Star state, Waco TX, and to remain there until the city has been conquered. This is a command.

Are there any prophecies that are used to identify the name of the “camp” and how long it should be in existence?

"To day if Ye will Hear His Voice, Harden not Your Hearts"

 

“True we are establishing our headquarters on this mount that is found in prophecy, but our stay here shall be very, very short, for "He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth." (Rom. 9:28.)

 

“It might be interesting to Elder G. to know that the naming of our "camp" "Mt. Carmel Center" came about in the same way as the naming of our publications "The Shepherd's Rod," for we did not know before hand that it was in prophecy until after our attention was called to Mic. 7:14 and Amos 1:2.  In the prophecy of Amos we read:

 

"The Lord will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither."

 

“Then "the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither."  Hence, before that time the top of Carmel must have been green with much pasture, otherwise there would be nothing to wither; that is, though Carmel has now plenty of pasture (present truth), when probation closes it shall be deserted ("wither"), for says the Spirit of Prophecy: "In the time of trouble we all fled from the cities and villages."--"Early Writings," p. 34.

 

“Thus shall the top of Carmel wither, and those who do not take heed to the word, "To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your heart," at length will be alarmed that their opportunity for accepting the truth has slipped away.  Then in their hasty, frenzied effort to acquaint themselves with present truth which went forth from the top of Carmel, to their surprise they shall find that Carmel has finished its work, its inhabitants removed, and probation closed, at which time the inhabitants of "Carmel" can but repeat, "the harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we have nothing for thee." 1SC #14 pp 4, 5)

 

The prophecy of Micah and Amos were both used in the naming of the “camp.” Antitypical Mt. Carmel withers when probation for the church closes according to Amos 1:2.

 

It is very clear as to the time the “top of Carmel” withers. When this present truth message reaches every SDA and the 144,000 are sealed, then the work of Mt. Carmel will be accomplished. Therefore, it is obvious that the removal of the inhabitants of old Mt. Carmel in 1959 or the death of the prophet in 1955 could not have been the withering of the “top of Carmel.”

 

The following reference proves that Mt. Carmel Center, Waco TX is the only antitypical hill that is mention in prophecy and it is to remain permanent for the proclamation of the "True Witness to the Laodiceans." Micah was given a vision of this antitypical hill.

 

GREETINGS FROM MOTHER NATURE AT MT. CARMEL

 

“In as much as Present Truth believers are faithfully straining their ears in an anxious endeavor to catch all the news waves from this anti-typical hill of "green pastures," to which the prophet Micah's attention was called long ago (Micah 7:14), we fear they will be greatly disappointed if we say nothing of its activities; therefore, we are happy to send forth a few lines of greeting from Mother Nature at Mt. Carmel.

 

“If Mt. Carmel Center is to be true to its name, and stand as an antitype of that ancient hill to which God called His people of old to prove who was the true God, then we, who are so highly privileged as to be among those chosen to pioneer this march up the mountain, must be very sure that we can do more than just say, "The Lord, He is the God, the Lord, He is the God," lest we fall under the condemnation of the false prophets, who were slain at the close of that memorable day when Elijah met the prophets of Baal on the ancient Mount, bearing the same name we have chosen, where we are now to be tested as to whether we will follow God or Baal.” (1SC#13 p1)

 

“We are happy to announce that the headquarters office of the sealing message moved ….to its new and permanent home location for the proclamation of the message of the "True Witness to the Laodiceans." (1 SC #16 p1)

 

“We believe with all our hearts that God led in the establishment of Mt. Carmel Center, "in the midst of the land," and that from that divinely ordained hill should flow the "milk and honey" for the "remnant of Jacob." (2 SC # 7p8)

 

“More and more impressive does the truth become that the Lord has prepared this place from it's very beginning for the work which it is to accomplish.” (2SC #5-6 p1)

 

As there is only one antitypical Elijah, likewise there is only one antitypical MT. Carmel. If we would not think of naming some other book “The Shepherd’s Rod” or name another person Elijah, then it would be just as un-Biblical to name another “plot of ground” MT. Carmel Center. VT Houteff is one person – antitypical Elijah – the last. Likewise, MT. Carmel Waco TX is one place – “this antitypical hill” – the last.

 

Antitypical MT. Carmel Center according to prophecy is geographically located in the midst of the land Waco TX, and it will remain there until it withers. Any one can place a sign with that name where ever they so desire, but that’s all it is, a sign on a piece of property that some one, other than God, has chosen and named. That would therefore make your location and headquarters a counterfeit.

“God has never had more than one movement in existence at a time and it could not be otherwise now, for Christ cannot be divided.  (See 1 Cor. 1:13.) God's church is well marked in every generation by obedience to present truth.” (2 SR p125)

 

There are many different associations, each claiming to be the true one. However, inspiration designates only three successive headquarters after California, and even after he had light on the Kingdom.

 

“From these scriptures, (Micah 4:1, 2 and Isa. 2) it is plainly seen that Mt. Zion becomes the headquarters for the last gospel work on earth, after the time the 144,000 arrive there, and during the time the dragon wars against the remnant, "for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem"--no longer from the General Conference, or from Mt. Carmel Center.” (2Ans. pp48, 49) ( ) supplied.

 

“Moreover, if this prophecy (Isa. 2) is not to be fulfilled, then consequently the gospel work will not be finished either, for this prophecy tells the way the work is to be finished -- that the law of the Lord during the judgment day of the living is to go from Zion, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem, -- not from Takoma Park, not from Mt. Carmel Center, and not from some other place either.” (1 TG #5 p5) ( ) supplied.

 

Jerusalem will become the last and future headquarters after Texas. (See 1 TG #25 p6)

 

What other prophetic revelation is connected to Mt. Carmel and its work.

Amos 1:2 -- "The Lord will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither."

.

 

“This scripture, you see, reflects the tragedy which took place on the top of Carmel in the days of Elijah.  Here we are given the hint that there is to be another show-down between the prophet of God and the prophets of Baal.” (2TG #41 p7)

 

.

“We solicit the prayers of God's faithful people that we may do nothing that would dishonor Him, retard His work, or cause any to stumble.  May we all be faithful in this sacred trust that is committed unto us and keep "Mt. Carmel Center" as sacred a place as when Mt. Sinai shook at the presence of the Lord and as it was proven on ancient Mt. Carmel that the Lord was God and not Baal, and as then the Lord rid Israel of the false prophets (teachers), may He now by "Mt. Carmel Center" do as much and more so, for the Lord wants this place to be a refuge for all who make no "excuse"--for "the poor, the maimed, and the halt, and the blind" of the "city," and of the "highways and hedges" who feel their need of Him.” (1SC #11&12 p3, 4)

“No one is wanted on "Mt. Carmel" who has not studied through and through the message of..."The Shepherd's Rod;" who is not fully convinced on every point of its teaching; and who is not willing to comply with the divine rules and principles which govern the inhabitants on this mount of "green pastures," except their coming be for a visit only.

"And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from My sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them."  (Amos 9:3.) (2 SC # 12 p9)

These references undoubtedly reveal that there will be another show down on antitypical MT. Carmel. It also reveals a separation / judgment. The lord will remove the false prophets (teachers) who are hiding themselves on the top of Carmel either by false pretence or otherwise. (See 1TG #2 pp19, 20) May the Lord have mercy!!! Just how this is to go down I do not know, but this is what the word says.

“The great heart of the work is at-----; and, as the human heart throws its living current of blood into all parts of the body, so does the management at this place, the headquarters of our church, affect the whole body of believers. If the physical heart is healthy, the blood that is sent from it through the system is also healthy; but if this fountain is impure, the whole organism becomes diseased by the poison of the vital fluid. So it is with us. If the heart of the work becomes corrupt, the whole church, in its various branches and interests, scattered abroad over the face of the earth, suffers in consequence.

“Satan's chief work is at the headquarters of our faith. He spares no pains to corrupt men in responsible positions and to persuade them to be unfaithful to their several trusts.” (4T pp210, 211)

After the false teachers are removed from the top of Carmel- “the camp,” then God will have an army of reformatory workers who will then lay siege on the “city”-church, and to conquer it by taking the Shepherds Rod message “and it alone” to every one grass in the field., “this is the devoted purpose in building Mt. Carmel center, this is its given gold.”

Is Mt. Carmel a spiritual / literal pasture or both.

“And now louder and louder sounds the voice of Carmel, through the series of The Shepherd's Rod publications, "the Lord's voice...unto the city, and," says the Divine Author, "the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the Rod, and Who hath appointed it." Mic. 6:9.

 

"Feed thy people," He commands, "with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel." Mic. 7:14. (3Ans. p62.)

 

“Feed thy people with thy rod:’ The verb “feed” is to be understood as spiritual food, and that food  (truth) is found in the “Rod,” (not “Americas New War” or any other publications outside from Elijah’s) therefore we again have the command to give out the book (feed thy (God’s) people.”) (1 SR p243) ( ) added.

 

"Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old." (Mic. 7:14.)  For this purpose has he bought the land and settled in the woods, on the top (midst) of Mt. Carmel, by the side of the brook. (1 SC #14 p4)

“This Rod of God not only speaks, but It feeds, too.  And what can It be if not "meat in due season"?  if not the message of the hour?  The people, explains the scripture, are those who dwell solitarily in the woods, in the midst of Carmel.  Prophecy, for this day and hour recommends the message which the Rod contains, and which Carmel puts out, none other.” (1TG #28 p15, 16)

Please note that Carmel is used as a spiritual and a literal pasture. The message is the spiritual, and the place literal. Both Salem and MT. Dale association believe that it is only spiritual.

 

Brothers and Sisters, it is very clear from the irrefutable evidences that were presented from the prophetic word of God, that MT. Carmel Center Waco TX is the only place that God has reveal to us through the Rod for The Shepherds Rod message and it alone, to be proclaimed from. This becomes our duty and our responsibility.

 

Those of you who claim to believe the Shepherds Rod Message and at the same time belong to another association or you who are in limbo, here lies the acid test. (See 2 TG #24 p15) The prophecies of Micah 6:9, Micah 7:14 and Amos 1:2 are combined prophecies. You cannot honestly accept the spiritual pasture and reject the literal and expect to receive the seal. You want to eat the food but you do not want to support the only storehouse that inspiration directs us to.

“Teach the message as it is--add nothing to it, neither take anything from it….If Satan cannot succeed to cry down the entire message, he is happy if they reject just enough to cause them to doubt the words of the messenger.  Their occasion for doubt is actuated either because they hate to be disturbed, or that their motives shall not be restricted.” (1 SC #4 p1)

 

Though it may appear as if things are in disarray in Davidia, (including Waco headquarters) one thing for sure is that His word will not return unto Him void. God in His own time will make it right. We should continue to remain faithful to the message by our obedience to it both financially and spiritually. We must exercise the faith of Abraham if we expect to have a place in the Kingdom. When God told him to “go,” he went, likewise when God tells us to “remain” we should also obey.

 

God created a perfect world; sin has marred its perfection. We are admonished to live a sinless life in this sinful world. We are told to sigh and cry for all the abominations that are in the land – church. That includes Davidia. One famous writer states: “The only way for evil to survive, is for good men to do nothing.”

 

The “Camp” of Ezek. 4 will again be “a blessing in the midst of the land” and “a sign to the house of Israel.” Will you be a part to restore this prophecy, or, are you going to allow the enemy to continue to deceive you by remaining in a counterfeit camp, or in limbo, belonging nowhere, the choice is left with you.

 

ADDITIONAL POINTS TO CONSIDER

 

Didn’t Bro. Houteff start to sell all of the property? If so, why should we try to reclaim it for headquarters or if after he had sold every thing, would he not have relocated headquarters in the east according to the teaching on Ezekiel 47 or some where else?

 

PREPARATION FOR ALL OUT EFFORT

“Now again, with even greater emphasis toward reaching her goal, Mount Carmel Center makes the following announcement to all faithful Davidians who will realize that this good news is perhaps nothing short of a sign. Mount Carmel Center, by commencing to first sell its excess property, then the whole is symbolically leading the way to the program that is outlined by the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy, in the words:

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found , he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath and buyeth that field.” Matthew 13:44, The Lord himself is leading the way.

“Certainly then this move could be a signpost to both Davidians and to Laodiceans that the eleventh-hour message is on the very verge of a final and all-out effort to reclaim the church from the hands of the Enemy.

“Then who knows, but the Lord, that this heart stirring example may soon turn into a sounding alarm and be followed by every faithful Davidian believer throughout the land. Even now, the Lord’s example to raise funds by disposing of His possessions, is a loud cry to every Davidian to awake to the fact that he in privileged to join the campaign with faithful tithe and offering at first, and at last to swell the funds by giving everything so that the work may be finished and the saints be gathered home!” (10 SC #1 pp 3-6)

In 1954, one year before the prophet’s death, this statement was made: “The finishing touches are being placed on the new printing building, and before long it should be ready for occupancy.” (10 SC #2 p19)  While he was selling the excess, construction was still in process on the whole.

The reason Bro. Houteff was selling the property, (first the excess then the whole) was in fulfillment of Matt. 13:44, in order for him to have means to make “a final and all out effort to reclaim the church from the hands of the enemy…so that the work may be finished and the saints be gathered home (Kingdom)!”

“Yes, with the City coming to our very doors, the peach orchard must go…Now the trees are old, half withered, and barely alive. But why should we mourn? They served well their purpose for the time that we needed them. Now the land (excess first) will be sold at a profit and the means used to search out and save the lost sheep of the House of Israel. Good-by dear old peach orchard. (10 SC #2 pp11-13) ( ) ours.

“I am greatly impressed by the things I have seen and heard about the building up of Mt. Carmel in the early days and the progressive selling off of land tracts as its purpose is fulfilled. I am also impressed with the need of setting an example to all believers to do likewise, as the Lord shows the way.” (10 SC 32 p18)

It was Gods purpose that the closing work for the church be accomplished from Mt. Carmel, Waco TX and that the top of Carmel not withered until the close of probation for the church. However Satan, realizing the purpose of Mt. Carmel, studied the prophecies very carefully and waited for an opportunity to seemingly divert Gods plan. After the death of Elijah in 1955, Sister Houteff along with the council violated the command of the Lord by not remaining at the ‘camp’ until the city has been conquered, thus Satan staged a counterfeit withering by removing the inhabitants and consequently, removing the sign to the house of Israel, the 144,000. This was prophesied to occur as the following references will reveal.

“Everything that can be done against God's message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven's message in the days of Christ's first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever -- that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy's effort to deliver a knockout blow. We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes -- from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ's day.” (WHR p33) (See 2TG # 46 pp 42-44, 48-49)

There is no doubt that most Davidians are still knocked out and are continued to be by the present “professed friends of the gospel” in all associations. Many are in some corner trying to recuperate from the enemies blow. Some belong to an association in the north corner, a south corner, an east and a west, while failing to get back in the midst of the ring (Waco TX.) to finish the fight by continuing the work from where the prophetic word of God instructed us to be. Others are so stunt; they belong no where.

CONTROVERSAL POINTS

Some of the questions that are usually asked to dispute going back to Waco are: “Can a river run backward” and “where are the references to prove going back to Waco?”

 

.

That is true, a natural river does not run backwards, and there are no references to prove we should go back. How can there be any references to prove we should go back, when we were instructed to “remain there until the city is concurred.”

 

.

And yes, a symbolical river can run backwards if the river represents the direction and not location in which an association should go. However, if upon further investigation, the correct understanding relating to location of headquarters is revealed, then the only intelligent decision to make is to return to the spot that inspiration instructed us to remain. In this way, a river can run backwards.

 

.

“When a man takes the position that when he had once make a decision he must stand by it, and never to alter his decision, he is on the same ground as was Lucifer when he rebel against God…Those who holds that their views are unchangeable cannot be helped, for they place themselves where they are not willing to receive council and admonition from their brethren.” (Letter 12, 1911)

 

.

Another point that is used for us not going back is, the “camp” is no longer in a rural setting and it is in the city limits.

 

.

It is true that a rural setting was one of the criteria that Inspiration used in the establishment of the camp, and at present it is in the city limits and not in a rural setting.

 

.

In “Lessons on Faith” p 30 it says we must believe the word of God, even as against the word of God. This was Abraham’s greatest test, and it will likewise be ours.

 

.

The present condition does not and cannot place us in violation of Inspiration, because we did not establish the camp of Ezek. 4. It was established by the last prophet to the church as “it’s new and permanent home location of the message to the Laodiceans.” (1 SC #16 p1) WE can only restore that which was already established.

 

.

If there are obstacles surrounding the present condition of God’s last prophetic headquarters, then it is the obstacles that would be the problem, and not the headquarters. When God established His last headquarters in Waco, He foresaw the future. It was disobedience to the command of God by Sis. Houteff which created the problem.

 

.

Let us learn from Sarah’s experience. She laughed at God, because she did not believe He was able to do the impossible. Whatever the obstacles are, let us exercise the faith that is needed, believing that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, He never changes.

 

.

To re-locate headquarters somewhere else just to be in a rural setting, is nothing short of doubt, which is the same as to call God a liar, and it would be a repeat of Sarah’s mistake by sending her husband to Hagar as an alternative in fulfillment of prophecy. Inspiration says: “No other plot of ground can do.” (2 SC#5 p6) God is able to perform the impossible. Sarah after a bitter experience believed this. God can remove the gentiles that now occupy the majority of the “Camp” ground, the very same way He will remove the gentiles in the promise land.

 

.

It was never God’s intention for His people to be intermingled with the gentiles (unbelievers) in the world. Nevertheless, due to the disobedience of our fore-parents, God’s people are found living among them. Should we be held accountable for this? No! But we are required to live a sinless life in this sinful uncontrolled environment, until we are taken to the promise land.

As you contemplate the truths that were presented may the spirit of God move upon your hearts to be a part of God’s last and true association that prophecy predicts “the burden of the work is to be carried for the church in all the world….which is to herald from this central location.”

.

Do not be deceived in believing that location of headquarters in it self is all that is required for finishing the work. For this to be made a reality the restoration of all the Divine principles that govern MT. Carmel Center must be reinstated.

 

“Of necessity then, Mt. Carmel Center is been built as a base of operation for training and fitting workers to carry this special message to the church; for educating deserving youth; for caring for worthy poor, aged, widowed, and orphaned; and for ministering to the sick and infirm according to God’s plan.” (3 Ans. p64)

 

It is my desire that before long, the unity that Christ prayed for among His children will be quickly fulfilled within Davidia. It is high time for us to put away our Idols and unite on the platform of truth, so together as one unit, we will be able to shake Laodicea once again from the midst of the land as it was shaken in the days of the prophet.

 

Most of us do not realize the awesome responsibility that is attached to us by coming back to Waco, therefore I leave with you this report the prophet made in reference to the Texas trip.

 

“The responsibility which God has placed upon us at this time is so great that no human mind can fully comprehend it or take it too seriously; that is, God has given us the "words of life" to bear to His erring church, thus placing the light for the people in our hands!  In other words, we stand as it were at the helm of the great ship aboard which are God's people, and if we wreck it, everyone will fall overboard.  Hence, if we could realize how great would be that fall, we too, would sweat "great drops of blood."  It may be that He Who did calm the mad waters with the words, "Be still," will divide the sea and thus, without the aid of the ship, lead on to shore those who are not responsible for its fall.  But woe to us should we either by an unconcerned, half-hearted effort, or by a zeal which is not informed by divine power bring about such a fearful catastrophe.

 

“At this time we are to make the most important move since the message found us. Therefore, we earnestly solicit the prayers of every believer in present truth, so that there be nothing done which God cannot bless.” (1 SC #10 p1)

 

This reference is very comforting to me. It reveals hope, that per chance those in leadership position should wreck God’s ship that He will without the aid of it lead to shore those who are not responsible for its fall.

 

“But woe to us should we either by an unconcerned, half-hearted effort, or by a zeal which is not informed by divine power bring about such a fearful catastrophe.”

 

DISCLAIMER

 

The purpose of this presentation is to bring to light God’s revealed prophetic words relating to the location of His last prophetic headquarters for the gathering of the 144,000—the first fruits. (See 1 SC #16 p6)

 

It does not sanction the current administration (VP as head theory) or its activities in literature distribution outside of the Shepherds Rod materials.(SEE GOVERNMENT AND HEAR YE THE ROD for more information,) neither does it support many of the beliefs that is taught by the association and the abominations that are been ignored such as, the massive infiltration of illegal aliens that is taking over God's "camp."

To be at the right place doing the wrong thing will defeat our purpose in coming back to Waco. The “Camp” according to Inspiration is to be governed by a Theocratic Government and not Democratic and all of it's members must be in strick obedience not only to God's law, but also to the law of the land.
