Mount Carmel Center – A Place of Test

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their

transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Isaiah 58:1)

Listed above are some of the many references Davidians love to quote as evidence

in support of our commission to Mother regarding her abominations, not realizing

that we are also an essential part of her. See Hosea Ch. 2.

One of the many misconceptions in Davidia is, because we are given a charge

from Father to go to Mother and plead with her because of her “indecent worldly

connection” and for “her to repent of her unfaithfulness and to return to Him” we

have the idea that the condemnations lies solely with her. Are we not told to sigh

before we cry? Why then are we blinding our eyes to the abominations within our

ranks but anxious to condemn Mother for hers. We too my Brothers and Sisters are

a part of the church of Laodicea, we too can also be in a laodicean condition.

PARTIAL LIST OF ABOMINATIONS WITHIN DAVIDIA

“The abominations for which the faithful ones were sighing and crying were all

that could be discerned by finite eyes, but by far the worst sins, those which

provoked the jealousy of the pure and holy God, were unrevealed.” (5T 211)

As we continue, we will be identifying some of the abominations within Davidia.

“The great heart of the work is at-----; and, as the human heart throws its living

current of blood into all parts of the body, so does the management at this place,

the headquarters of our church, affect the whole body of believers. If the physical

heart is healthy, the blood that is sent from it through the system is also healthy;

but if this fountain is impure, the whole organism becomes diseased by the poison

of the vital fluid. So it is with us. If the heart of the work becomes corrupt, the

whole church, in its various branches and interests, scattered abroad over the face

of the earth, suffers in consequence.

“Satan's chief work is at the headquarters of our faith. He spares no pains to

corrupt men in responsible positions and to persuade them to be unfaithful to their

several trusts. He insinuates his suspicions and jealousies into the minds of those

whose business it is to do God's work faithfully. While God is testing and proving

these helpers, and fitting them for their posts, Satan is doing his utmost to deceive

and allure them, that they may not only be destroyed themselves, but may

influence others to do wrong and to injure the great work. He seeks by all the

means in his power to shake the confidence of God's people in the voice of

warning and reproof through which God designs to purify the church and prosper

His cause.” (4T 210,211)

Many sacrifices were made by those who have pioneered this movement from

Salem to Mountaindale back to Waco Texas. We all worked for below minimum

wages, long hours without over time pay. The VP assisted in what ever department

needed help, be it the print shop, cutting the grass, painting, repairing the building,

going out in the field to give Bible studies, teaching DLI, etc. All the workers

worked in whatever department needed help. We would also work in Assyria to

supplement our income. This is how we have operated since Salems Association,

Mountaindales, and the early part of Waco.

This Association allowed previous and current VP to act and behave as a

HIERARCHY. Some would come to work with jacket and tie, sit in their office

doing only heaven knows what when work is to be done in other departments.

Because there is no job description allotted for the VP office other than what is

written in the Leviticus, which is to assist the president, (who is dead) therefore

some of our VP make their own rules. The VP title and office has created nothing

but chaos and confusion since the days of Florence Houteff to our present time. It

is anti Rod to have a VP without a president. Under our constitution, the VP is

chosen by the president and not voted into office. (See www.hearyetherod.org for

Our current Council voted to pay this VP much more than those who have worked

relentlessly in the re-establishment of Mount Carmel Center. In addition, he is

receiving free housing, and the privilege to go on excursion trips to visit Davidian

groups world wide instead of going out into the field to give Bible studies to SDA

and to lay siege. The VP position is looked upon by many in Davidia as some one

who is above the rest of Council members, and in reality, that is exactly what the

title portrays. In any corporation the Vice president takes control when the

president is absent. Therefore, those of you who believe we should have a VP in

our administration should accept the facts and stop whining.

Seeing that we do not believe in having a president because he is chosen by God,

and the last of the prophets Elijah is, all that is required of us is an alternate chair

person for the Council and not someone with a VP title that make them to believe

they are above the others. Our present governmental system is a counterpart of the

Apostolic. The seven Deacons were all equal, none were above the other. Our VP

title has created a spirit of competition and strife for the highest office.

“The Saviour gathered His disciples about Him, and said to them, ‘If any man

desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.’ ... “They did not

understand the nature of Christ's kingdom, and this ignorance was the apparent

cause of their contention.”... “The strife for the highest place was the outworking

of that same spirit which was the beginning of the great controversy in the worlds

above, and which had brought Christ from heaven to die.”… “Lucifer desired

God's power, but not His character. He sought for himself the highest place, and

every being who is actuated by his spirit will do the same. Thus alienation,

discord, and strife will be inevitable.” (DA pp435-436)

Some time ago a letter was sent to the field by the Council where they changed the

established date for Session, (March/April) as stated in the By-law under Article

111- Session, Section 1a, b and c of our 2015-20017 By-laws. To solidify their

point, Lev. p7 was used as proof that the Council, and not Session is given the

license to inform the field as to the time and place for Session. This overrule by

them was cited in our By-laws under Article11 Section 11 (a) which states that if

Session should make a decision that is not in harmony with the word of God, then

the Council should send out a ballot to the standing delegates with the relevant

quotes to undo their decision by a majority vote.

We find this argument to be very hypocritical. If the Council is using Article 11

Section 11 (a) of our By-laws as proof for them to override Sessions decision

because it contradicts the Rod that says, the Council has the right to designate the

time and place for Session, then for Heavens sake, please show me in the Rod

where we can have a VP as our head that is voted into office. This inconsistency in

your argument is contradicting.

The Councils letter with the change of date for Session is in total violation and a

disrespect to the voice of God. A precise command and instruction was given to

Council. They were told if they found a discrepancy with the By-law where it

contradicts the Rod, they were to send a ballot to the standing delegates to undo

that By-law.

Does the Council understand that only the standing delegates can make or change

a law between Session, and they do not have any legislative power only executive,

neither the right to interpret the law? “It shall have full executive and

administrative power between Sessions of the Association.” (Lev. p9)

If the Council found this By-law to be ambiguous, and there were discrepancy

among themselves as to the correct understanding, or to change the place, time or

month for Session, the only right and decent thing to have done was to do what

Session told them to do, and not to take it upon themselves and act independently

of the churches decision. This to me is revealing a spirit of rebellion.

“Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For

rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.

Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, He hath also rejected thee from

being king." (Council Members- added) (PP 631.2)

What’s amazing about this is, you the standing delegates who made this very law,

is in the very process of breaking it if you should acknowledge the Councils illegal

change for Session. Why, because the Council did not send a ballot for your

approval via your vote. You need to stand for principle and not allow the Council

to dictate your conscience.

The Council is also not guided by the Spirit of God in the granting of fellowship

cards. Fellowship cards are granted to Davidians who were married to an

unbeliever without being re-baptized. (See 2Cor.6:14-17, AH 61-69, 2TG #19

p14,15, 2SC #7-8 p10.)

Were you aware that Seventh Day Adventist ministers do not marry individuals

who are unequally yoked? and should they go outside the church to do so, he or

she would be dis-fellowship. That is the standard position within the SDA church.

How can present truth believers who believe in the message of Elijah that is to

restore all things as it was in the beginning marry someone outside of the faith.

“Nevertheless, as representatives of the Elijah message, we are called to lead out

by precept and example in the restoration of all things, especially the marriage and

the Sabbath institutions, for the one represents the home, and the other the

memorial of its creation. Therefore, before ‘we go forth to proclaim the Sabbath

more fully,’ we must lift up marriage, the first institution, from the sordid depths to

which Satan has plunged it.” (3SC #2 p8)

“In fact, the only marriages that God can honor are those which are entered upon

only after both parties inquire of Him and receive His sanction.” (3SC #2 p7)

“Marriage affects the after life both in this world and in the world to come. A

sincere Christian will make no plans that God cannot approve.” (MH p. 359.)

What is even more mind boggling is, not only did these individuals violate the

crystal clear statements in the written word of God by backsliding and marring

some one outside the faith, but the Council who is put in office to inspect and to

make sure no one “climbs over the fence”, allow these individuals to have a

certificate of fellowship without being re-baptized. And to crown the abomination

even more, the supposed voice of God vote them into office. Are we not told to

“look ye amount you seven men of honest report”?

‘“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and

touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.’ (2 Cor. 6:17.) ‘For this ye

know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an

idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man

deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God

upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For

ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of

light.... And have no fellowship with the unfruitful workers of darkness, but rather

reprove them.’(Eph. 5:5-8, 11.)” (2SR p290)

Our present status is no different as it was in Ezra’s time. Among God’s people

there were those who were in total violation of God’s Law by intermarried with

unbelievers – a heathen. Let us glean the result of their abominations.

“Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting

himself down before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel a

very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very

sore. And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, [one] of the sons of Elam, answered and

said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives

of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.

Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and

such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that

tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.”

(Ezra 10:1-3)

This has been a practice by the Council over the years, granting fellowship cards

to those who have not “paid the price.” As an example, a Bro. C had received a

card and a position at Session without paying one cent in tithes because he lied and

promised the Council a large amount of money.

Brother E who has scammed many of the brethren out of their money and never

re-payed them, was voted by Session as a Council member. Can it get any worst

before we come to our senses and realize our stupidity?

“Many have asked who is eligible to lead in the service of the work? The answer

that goes out from Mt. Carmel is that anyone not holding a Certificate of

Fellowship cannot be a Davidian teacher. He can listen only. Yet just the granting

of a Certificate of Fellowship is a cheap thing. That in itself would have no

significance. Who receives the Certificate? -- Those who have personally studied

all the Message and believe It; those overcoming temptation; those complying

with all the requirements; (including marriage) those who put their treasure where

moth and thieves cannot enter; those who keep all the commandments; those who

are not flesh-eaters, drunkards, or tobacco users; those who do not rob God of

tithes and offerings.

“We would freely give literature to those who ask for it, but that does not give the

light. It is only when one appropriates the oil, the Truth, to his everyday living

that the oil becomes transformed into light. It is when one pays this price, and

thus becomes eligible to receive a Certificate, signifying he has complied with all

the requirements, that he has the light. Hence, though we can freely hand out

tracts, we cannot freely hand out the Certificate of Fellowship.” (11SC #3 p10,11)

Two high ranking individuals, Minister Noel McCallum and Vice President Harold

Laughter decided on their own to carry out a treacherous act by burning and

destroying the Associations property, namely the Symbolic Codes. This malicious

ungodly act was spawned from the spirit of revenge. This is considered as a

“subversive security threat to this Organization,”which warrants immediate

termination. There is no doubt that this irrational behaviour was a demonstration

of two individuals taking upon themselves to act independently of the corporate

body. “May God pity the cause when one man's mind and one man's plan is

followed without question.” (PC 382)

The reason given by the VP regarding the burning of the materials which is

estimated at about $14.000, were, the By-law stated that it was to repeal the Bylaw

regarding the specially designed Symbolic Codes. He continued to explain

that the word repeal means to get rid of, to abolish, and that is exactly what he did.

The trend is obvious; these Council members interpret the By-laws to their liking

to accomplish what ever act they want to perform.

It should be noted that the Symbolic Codes that were destroyed by Brothers

McCallum and Laughter because of their opposition to its printing, are the very

same Codes that Bro. McCallum help to work on in the print shop over the years.

If he was so adamant against it, then he should have refused to participate in the

production of the Codes even if it had cost him his job. Bro. Mike Graham as an

example, refused to print the Unpublished Codes because of his conviction that

they are not a part of the SR series, and because of that he was terminated for not

doing so. That is called integrity. We are not defending the Codes, only the

violation of the principle regarding the act.

Another violation by some of the Council members is them getting rid of Gods

printing equipment to the scrap heap. This unscrupulous behavior was done twice

behind the back of the printing director while he was overseas. About thirty

thousand dollars of God’s tithe money again being wasted. Why would

individuals who have no knowledge about printing equipment take it upon

themselves to dump God’s machines, unless there is a motive and an agenda. All

those involved should be put on probation and repay the Association every cent for

the damage they did.

Money is being wasted and spent extravagantly. The purchasing of two new

vehicles at the cost of about $60,000 for two ministers in the US, when there are

workers in the foreign field who don't even have a bicycle to use in their

missionary out reach program that are more productive than those in America.

What would warrant these individuals to get these expensive chariots when they

have not adhered to “Heavens Appeal” program, and please do not mention WHR.

p51. The White House Recruiter program was strictly implemented to recruit SDA

and not Davidians. The Council is allowing these Bible workers and ministers to

become “robbers” by violating the principles regarding the method that the Rod

has outline as to how a Davidian should obtain their salary. (See FB p26-30, 2SC

#3-4 p7,8, 1SC #7 p1,2)

“The plan of Christ forbids that any should enter the gospel ministry by salary, but

rather by faith that his needs will be taken care of by those who open their doors to

the Lord's laborers. Therefore, as there are hardly any self-supporting workers in

the field, it is evident that there are but few missionaries whom Christ recognizes

as His. Consequently, both those who hire gospel workers by stipulated salary, and

the ones who accept such a position are violating the Master's command.

“It is neither Biblical nor just that one labor earnestly to raise up a company of

believers, and then have the conference reap the tithe of his labor to feed a hired

minister who had no part in the effort instead of the one who has sacrificed and

done the work. Such an act might as well be called robbery.” (1SC #7 p1)

There is a serious force that is controlling the affairs of the work at Mount Carmel

Center. The Spirit of God is not pleased with the ungodly behavior on “Top of

Carmel,” the spirit of animosity and hatred among Council members and workers

is so thick, you can cut it with a knife so to speak. Brethren who for the first time

visit Headquarters express their disappointment, because it shattered their

expectation of what they anticipated.

“No one is wanted on “Mt. Carmel” who has not studied through and through the

message of… ‘the Shepherd's Rod;’ who is not fully convinced on every point of

its teaching; and who is not willing to comply with the divine rules and principles

which govern the inhabitants on this mount of ‘green pastures,’ except their

coming be for a visit only.

“And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take

them out thence; and though they be hid from My sight in the bottom of the sea,

thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.’ (Amos 9:3.)” (2SC #12

p10)

It is not expensive and new equipment that is lacking why we are not having

success. All we had in Mountaindale was a little old inexpensive AB Dick 360

press that rocked and astonished Adventisim to the point that they burned down

our print shop. Why? Because we had individuals who were committed to the

work, not because of the wages but their love for souls and most of all the

blessings of The Almighty were poured out without measures upon us, due to our

obedience to His word. Those were some of the unforgettable moments of our

experience in NY.

“Success never fails when the command of the Master is obeyed. If the ministry

had been constantly inquiring of Jesus where and how to cast the net, there would

have been a multitude of "fish" -- converts -- and never a lack of "meat" – means.”

If our coming to this Session is going to be as previous ones, then please stay

home, do not waste God’s tithes just to come and repeat the same violations. A

drastic change must be made especially regarding our governmental structure, we

must separate ourselves from being incorporated with the state, we must have a

genuine revival and reformation as in the time of Ezra. Are we not aware of the

different crisis occurring in the world? When are we going to wake up to the

reality that all our efforts in our political worldly procedures in the voting of

officers at Session is not of God but of the devil.

“And since the officers who run the churches are elected by majority vote, do you

see who elected them, who is in office, and who is in control of the churches? Do

you wonder then why things are running as they are?” (1TG #12 p19)

“Time has already demonstrated that the S.D.A. organization is fulfilling the type.

Preferring to incorporate, and to elect officers by the people's vote, they have

thereby manifested that they have cared not so much to please God by being ‘a

peculiar people,’ as He would have them to be, as they have to please themselves

by being as much as possible like the other denominations -- just as in Saul's time

the people wanted to be like the nations round about them. (1 Sam. 8:5, 7).” (TR 8

p48,49)

“In view of that great day the word of God, in the most solemn and impressive

language, calls upon His people to arouse from their spiritual lethargy and to seek

His face with repentance and humiliation: ‘Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and

sound an alarm in My holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for

the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand.’ ‘Sanctify a fast, call a solemn

assembly: gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather

the children: . . . let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of

her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and

the altar.’ ‘Turn ye even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with

weeping, and with mourning: and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn

unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of

great kindness.’ Joel 2:1, 15-17, 12, 13.

accomplished. God saw that many of His professed people were not building for

eternity, and in His mercy He was about to send a message of warning to arouse

them from their stupor and lead them to make ready for the coming of the Lord.”

Before coming to Session, each house hold should fast and pray that the Spirit of

God will prevail so we can experience a pre-Pentecostal out pouring of the Holy

Spirit, then as a united reformed movement, we can together take this pure

unadulterated message to Mother, to every one grass in the field so that the

purification can take place, the kingdom set up, take the loud cry message to the

world, then prepare to be with Christ for a thousand years in Heaven. We are the

ones that are responsible for preventing the work from going forward.

“But, just as soon as all idols are cast aside, -- yes, as soon as the great revival and

reformation takes place in the hearts of the people, -- then the Assyrian (the power

that now rules them) shall certainly fall, and God's people shall just as certainly

return.” (1TG #33 p4,5)

“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for He hath

given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the

rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.... And it shall come to

pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and

your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men

shall see visions: and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days

will I pour out My Spirit.” Joel 2:23, 28, 29.

“The statement, ‘upon all flesh,’ shows that as a people, without one exception, all

shall again receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

“This scripture shows, moreover, that the manifestation of the Spirit, in the second

Pentecost, is to be much greater than the former, that in comparison the former

was but a sample.

“When will this be? -- It will have to be just as soon as God can get a company of

people to ‘see eye to eye’ (Isa. 52:8) that their own so-called good deeds are but

filthy rags, and thus be of one accord. The only such company in prophecy, you

know, is the 144,000, the first fruits, the servants of God who stand on Mount Zion

with the Lamb without guile in their mouths (Rev. 14:1, 4, 5). To achieve such a

happy holy state the Church must experience a mighty revival and reformation, a

shaking, a sifting, such as she has never yet experienced. Yes, if everyone were to

cast away his private ideas and opinions, it would indeed bring the greatest revival

and reformation since the day of Pentecost.” (2TG #19 p10,11)
